In addition to offering thousands of books and a warm and welcoming place to read and relax, Jenkintown Library provides services like Wi-Fi, computers, photocopy, fax, and printing, as well as inter-library loans, passes to cultural institutions, and even US passport acceptance services

eLibrary

Our extensive eLibrary program provides thousands of downloadable audio books, e-books and periodicals, as well as services like language learning, tutorials and test prep, resume prep, and even Ancestry.com.

Wi-Fi

Free wireless internet is available at the library.

Computers

Six computers are available for public use, with black and white printing at 20¢ per page.

Community Room

The Community Room is available for events for just $50 for 4 hours.

Food Bank

Jenkintown Library is collecting canned goods and cereal for the Jenkintown United Methodist Church Food Cupboard, which feeds between 60-80 local families per week. You can help by placing your non-perishable food donation in the boxes located inside the front and back doors of the Jenkintown Library.

Items needed most include cereal, canned meals, juice, spaghetti sauce.

Bookstore

The Jenkintown Library Bookstore has a constantly changing selection of hundreds of gently used fiction and nonfiction books, for adults, children, and teens. We have CDs and DVDs, too! CDs, DVDs, and hardcover books are just $1. Paperbacks are only 25¢.
